How To Grow Fenugreek (Methi)
Pot Size :
You Can use 18*6 or 24*6 Inch Grow bag for growing Methi. If you want to grow in Plastic pot use minimum 6 Inch pot . The wider pots/ Grow Bags will provide more space and more nutrient to the plant .

Soil Requirements:
Methi / Fenugreek needs moist but well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Use soil mix with combination of Red Soil , Vermicompost and Cocopeat at a ratio of (2:1:1) . Also add 2-5% of Neem Powder to the soil mix. Neem Powder will act as fungicide.

Sowing Fenugreek Seeds : It’s easy to grow even for beginners. Sow Fenugreek Seeds / Methi Seeds ¼ inches deep and 2 inches of space for each plant while sowing seeds.

Light requirements:
Fenugreek / Methi will grow well in Full sunlight, It will also grow in shade. At least 4 to 5 hours of sunlight per a day should be provided for healthy growth.

Water Requirements:

Water the fenugreek plants gently and thoroughly. Regular watering early in the day is advised. If the temperature is higher than 35 Degrees water it twice . Excess watering will cause in Root rot for any plant , so you need have proper drainage system in your container . Make sure that Excess water will drain properly .

Common issues: Fenugreek / Methi is easy to grow plant . It will grow fast . Fenugreek doesn’t tend to get affected by too many pests and diseases. But there is a possibility of pest to attack the plant. Those problems can be easily resolved using our Bio Insecticides . Use our Bio Insecticide Guardian for removing .

Harvesting: Fenugreek / Methi leaves can be harvested in 3 to 4 weeks from seed plantation. Methi is very fast growing. Cut the leaves from the top of the plants as you need them. This encourages additional growth so you will be able to harvest again after a couple of weeks.
